Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our team and oversee all financial procedures of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with regulations while maximizing profits and mitigating risks.

Responsibilities:

Develop, document, and update accounting policies to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
Ensure timely completion of all payments, including accounts payable and bank deposits.
Review quarterly and annual reporting for all departments, analyzing costs and profits to identify areas for improvement.
Set and track financial KPIs to monitor company performance.
Provide regular reports on the company's financial status and generate ad-hoc reports when needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for financial records.
Perform internal audits and assist with external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations to minimize risk.

Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Controller or similar role.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
Hands-on experience with general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
Experience with cash management and risk assessment.
Proficiency in Quickbooks software.
Attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
