Work Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM PST
Job Type: This is a temp-to-perm position
Pay: $21.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The Provider Data Entry Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of provider demographic and contract affiliation information within the health plan system. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to efficiently process incoming requests, ensuring data accuracy to optimize claims adjudication.

Essential Functions:

  • Receive provider information from external sources for system updates.
  • Analyze incoming data requests, applying knowledge and experience to validate the provided information.
  • Accurately input and maintain provider records in the computer system with a focus on precision and timeliness.
  • Conduct audits of loaded provider records to ensure quality and financial accuracy, providing documented feedback as needed.
  • Support system/health plan integration efforts.
  • Provide training to existing staff and new hires when necessary.
  • Assist in system-related testing activities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data entry with an emphasis on timeliness.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Willingness and ability to learn internal systems, including QNXT.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adherence to Molina's policies and confidentiality requirements.
  • Reliable attendance based on agreed-upon schedule.
  • Understanding and compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Required Experience: 1+ years of managed care experience or medical office
