Job Description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Assistant - Medicaid Coordinator to support our managed care operations by performing data entry and administrative tasks related to Medicaid enrollment and eligibility verification. The Medicaid Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely submission of Medicaid applications and updates to support seamless access to healthcare services for our members.

Responsibilities:
- Medicaid Enrollment: Assist patients in completing Medicaid applications and gather necessary documentation to support eligibility determination.
- Data Entry: Enter patient information, demographics, and Medicaid eligibility details into Medicaid enrollment systems accurately and efficiently.
- Verification: Verify Medicaid eligibility status and coverage information through online portals and communication with state Medicaid agencies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of Medicaid applications, updates, and correspondence with patients and Medicaid agencies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Medicaid program requirements and regulations related to enrollment, eligibility, and data reporting.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders regarding Medicaid enrollment and eligibility status.
- Problem Resolution: Address patient inquiries and resolve issues related to Medicaid enrollment, coverage, and eligibility in a timely and professional manner.
- Reporting: Generate reports and maintain dashboards to track Medicaid enrollment metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in administrative assistant or healthcare administration
- Medicaid enrollment, or related field a plus
- Familiarity with Medicaid eligibility criteria, enrollment processes, and regulations.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer applications and data entry software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices.
