Open Position:
Under general supervision, but according to established organizational procedures, performs a variety of moderately complex clerical functions, which requires the use of judgment and knowledge of assigned site’s systems and operations particularly filing within the electronic medical records system. Responsibilities include the monitoring of the electronic fax log and scanning in the patient’s electronic medical record.  Must have strong computer skills and ability to work in a fast paced medical office.   Experience in working in a medical environment preferred.

Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such a reprioritizing as necessary.
Minimize non-productive time and fill slow periods with activities that will enable you to prepare to meet the future needs of the position (organizing, filing, assisting others, etc.). 
Operates one or more standard and/or automated office machines such as on-line computer terminal (similar in operation to a typewriter) to retrieve, input and update data, calculator and photocopier.  
Demonstrate flexibility to perform duties wherever volume deems it necessary within the office.

One to two years of experience in a medical setting working with medical records, preferably electronic medical records.
Organizational skills to gather assemble and maintain a wide variety of data.
Ability to sort and file by alphabetic or numeric systems.
Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Basic computer skills and knowledge.
