We are a rapidly growing small business that specializes in building strong Engineering teams that provide high quality, modern technical solutions to our clients is seeking a Software Integration Defect and Test Quality Manager who:
  • Applies extensive expertise in Integration and Test and has overall responsibility for the organization, prioritization and resolution of software defects being managed
  • Knowledge of the Census domain and systems under-test
  • Works with all levels of testers and project development teams ensuring defects are managed to closure as efficiently as possible
  • Performs root cause analysis
  • Identify improvements to the Defect Management process
  • Develops and maintains Test Plan development and review process
  • Oversees the review of test plans, and procedures to ensure test coverage, mapping to requirements, consistency and quality
  • Can make sound decisions that result in an organization achieving critical organizational objective
  • Could function in project leadership roles and represent us as the prime customer contact on significant technical matters
Required Skills:
  • Strong technical background and work with a cross-functional team to triage and escalate defects, troubleshooting and debugging
  • Strong background with CM processes/tools
  • Defect identification, reporting, and management
  • Regression testing, performance testing, end to end testing and functional testing
  • Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools
  • Front and back-end testing
  • Writing and executing test cases
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills, with both technical and non-technical team members
  • High degree of efficiency and motivation in work habits in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Committed to meeting all schedule deadlines
  • Planning and management skills
Technologies Needed:
  • Selenium, UFT/QTP, SoapUI, HP Quality Center, HP Performance Center/LoadRunner, Unix/Linux, Windows, Oracle, CloudBees, Jenkins
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience with a bachelor’s or four (4) years of experience with a master’s performing engineering activities.
