Job Title: Medical Office Assistant
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Must live within 10 miles of Long Beach, CA
Work Schedule: 7am-4pm PST (Adjustable)
Hybrid Position: Onsite and Remote (Rotating Schedule)
Hourly Rate: $16.00
You will play a vital role in providing administrative support and assisting in the management of various departmental activities and functions. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of administrative processes, compliance expectations, and document management.
- Sort, date stamp, and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and packages daily within specified time frames.
- Print, scan, and fax documents as required to facilitate departmental operations.
- Prepare and assemble mailings and packages accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the organization, filing, and maintenance of departmental documents, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Monitor and replenish printer supplies, ensuring printers and printer areas are well-stocked.
- Prepare and send departmental correspondence, adhering to established protocols.
- Provide clerical support to the department, including routine administrative tasks.
- Proficient understanding of general compliance expectations.
- Experience with scanning, printing, and documenting incoming correspondence.
- Collaborate with the existing clerk to maintain a rotating schedule, alternating between at least 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week.
- Execute tasks related to mail, document preparation, and administrative support.
- Ensure compliance with established procedures and protocols.
- Monitor and manage office supplies and equipment.
- Support departmental functions and processes as needed.
- 1+ year of administrative experience.
Required Licensure / Education:
- Preferred education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
