Job Description

As the CFO for a Managed Care Organization, you will be responsible for driving the financial strategy for Ireland Operations. Our CFOs generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, SG&A, premium yields, and other areas of business.

In addition, you will research economic progressions to assist with the organization’s financial planning and partner with senior management when presenting consequent recommendations. There will also be responsibilities such as team management, budgeting, planning, and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Trusted member of the Ireland Leadership Team, engaging on a daily basis with the Ireland CEO and other Senior Business Leaders

  • Ensure Ireland Leadership Team has all the required financial support to deliver on their key objectives

  • Integral member of the extended global senior finance team supporting the global CFO on driving global strategy with a specific finance lens

  • Work closely with the business to develop, recommend, and establish strategies, plans, and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies

  • Collaborate with Group Accounting Policy and Corporate Tax to drive Enterprise financial strategy and execution

  • Deliver complex financial information effectively to all key stakeholders

  • Exhibit solid engagement and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders including Business Partners, Corporate Tax, Finance and Accounting Colleagues, Legal, Treasury, and Human Capital

  • Source all relevant data and use financial reporting software to efficiently meet the reporting needs of management

  • Incorporate industry-specific metrics into reports to highlight relevant trends and support fact-based business decisions

  • Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message

  • Lead the financial management of capital and operating expense, and develop metrics, benchmarks, and analytics to guide the appropriate investment in infrastructure

  • Lead a team that develops and maintains financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast, and budget

  • Lead a team of qualified accountants and finance professionals accountable for delivering complex statutory reporting, financial management reporting & analysis, research & development incentive programs, and demand management alignment

  • Manage and prioritize multiple competing deliverables with a professional and can-do attitude

  • Bring leading, innovative ideas to the organization

  • Assure flawless operational execution for new initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)

  • Experience in Multinational Financial Operations teams

  • Group Reporting Accounting experience

  • FP&A and Business Accounting Experience

  • Considerable experience in preparing Senior-level presentations and reports

  • Demonstrated years of supervisory/leadership experience

  • Previous experience leading a team
