Job Description: Temp-to-Perm Mailroom Claims Clerk

Location: Long Beach, CA (200 Oceangate, 6th Floor, Long Beach, CA 90802)
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Start Date: December 16, 2024


Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mailroom Claims Clerk to provide clerical support for CHP Claims operations. This position offers an opportunity to transition to a permanent role, contingent on performance.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming mail, ensuring accurate sorting and organization.
  • Perform scanning, filing, and distribution of claims and related documentation.
  • Handle outgoing mail processes efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of clerical tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily mailroom deadlines.

Schedule:

  • Training Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Post-Training Hours: Flexible start times, beginning as early as 7:00 AM.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer operations and office equipment.
  • Previous clerical or mailroom experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be reliable and able to work onsite daily.
