Position Summary
The Office Manager will support the General Manager and oversee day-to-day office operations, human resources, and payroll functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a pleasant, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Assist the General Manager with daily tasks and provide overall office administration as needed.
- Project Support: Manage project-related tasks such as purchasing and entering bills and invoices in QuickBooks Online.
- Human Resources: Handle hiring, employee orientation, and maintain personnel files.
- Payroll: Verify employee and subcontractor information in QuickBooks Time and prepare payroll reports.
- Communication: Answer calls, draft emails, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and project staff.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate employee and subcontractor records in QuickBooks Online.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of office management experience in human resources, payroll, and daily office operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a big plus.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Time is highly desirable.
