Position Overview:
We are seeking a Provider Coordinator / Medical Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, remote opportunity for candidates located within the Eastern Time Zone (EST). The role offers competitive pay up to $24/hour, is temp-to-perm, and includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) (no match) benefits offered through the staffing agency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review incoming provider emails and applications against the internal database to determine necessary updates.

  • Submit accurate update requests via tickets to the downstream data entry teams.

  • Communicate professionally with providers via email, requiring excellent written communication skills.

  • Accurately load and maintain provider demographic and contract information in the health plan systems to optimize claims adjudication.

  • Audit provider records for quality and financial accuracy and provide feedback as needed.

  • Assist with system and health plan integration projects.

  • Participate in system-related testing and provide training to new hires and existing staff as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 0–2+ years of experience within a managed care organization preferred.

  • Experience with provider data validation and provider data auditing.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.

  • Ability to quickly learn internal systems (QNXT experience is a plus).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

  • Reliable and consistent attendance according to the agreed-upon work schedule.


Work Environment and Requirements:

  • Remote position – must reside within the Eastern Time Zone (EST).

  • Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.

  • Equipment provided includes a laptop, keyboard, mouse, and headset.

  • Candidate must have access to dual monitors and a docking station to be successful in this role.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay up to $24 per hour.
