Job Summary
A leading engineering services firm is seeking a skilled FP&A Director to lead strategic financial planning and analysis initiatives. This role will play a critical part in driving performance, profitability, and process improvements by building accurate forecasts, managing the annual budgeting cycle, and delivering real-time insights through advanced financial modeling and visualization tools. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, advanced Excel skills, and deep ERP experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the annual budgeting process across all departments.

  • Maintain accurate rolling forecasts, including detailed cash flow projections.

  • Create and manage performance dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

  • Provide variance analysis and financial modeling to guide strategic decisions.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and support growth initiatives.

  • Oversee ERP system configuration and data security, ensuring accurate financial integration.

  • Act as an internal consultant to streamline processes and improve system efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable.

  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within engineering or industrial sectors.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency; strong modeling and analytical capabilities.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboarding tools.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.

  • Deep familiarity with ERP systems and financial system security practices.
