About the Role:
Our client, a well-established transportation equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Manager of Supply Chain to lead a dynamic team across demand planning, procurement, and inventory management. Based in northeast Dallas, this high-impact role is responsible for ensuring timely, efficient material flow and aligning supply chain operations with company-wide production goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team responsible for demand planning, purchasing, and inventory control
  • Drive execution of day-to-day supply chain operations in alignment with production goals and timelines
  • Oversee the implementation and ongoing support of the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process
  • Build and refine accurate demand and supply forecasts based on historical trends, sales input, and market data
  • Monitor and improve forecast accuracy through collaboration with sales, operations, and finance teams
  • Manage supplier selection, pricing negotiations, and contract terms to ensure cost-effective procurement
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to maintain quality and delivery standards
  • Develop supply chain metrics and KPIs, translating complex data into strategic insights and action plans

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, with 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence
  • Strong understanding of procurement, production scheduling, and logistics
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools, ERP systems, and supply chain software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
