Senior Accountant – Muncy, PA
Salary: Up to $90K

Our client, a respected and growing company that designs, manufactures, and distributes eyeglass frames to eye doctor offices, is hiring a Senior Accountant. This hands-on role reports directly to the Controller and covers general ledger management, payroll, inventory reconciliation, journal entries, and tax filings. A strong inventory background is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage GL, project codes, posting groups, and department accounts

• Oversee bank reconciliations, daily reports, and payroll accruals

• Handle payroll tax returns, 1099 submissions, and fringe benefit calculations

• Upload ACH and POSPAY files via online banking systems

• Lead inventory cycle counts and verify ERP inventory flows

• Review transactions, approve inventory adjustments, and enter journal entries

• Serve as the point of contact for payroll questions and commission processing

• Provide accounting backup and support ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong Excel skills and ability to adapt to new systems quickly

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Detail-oriented with strong reconciliation and deadline management abilities

• Prior experience in inventory-heavy environments required
