Job Title: Hospice RN Director of Patient Services
Location: Alexandria, VA 22314
Salary: Up to $140,000 annually

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations within the hospice program

• Supervise registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and clinical supervisors

• Ensure patients receive timely and appropriate care based on clinical needs

• Coordinate patient services, including referrals and interdisciplinary care planning

• Review staffing patterns in relation to patient census and acuity

• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation and records

• Ensure adherence to all applicable state, federal, and CHAP regulatory standards

• Support operational activities such as budgeting, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia (BSN preferred)

• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience, with at least 1 year in hospice or home health

• At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience preferred

• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of hospice care practices, pain management, and end-of-life services

• Valid driver’s license with access to an insured vehicle for occasional travel
