Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Educator to join our hospital healthcare team. This role is ideal for a registered nurse with a passion for teaching and mentoring, committed to enhancing the knowledge, skills, and confidence of nursing staff. As a Clinical Educator, you will serve as a leader, facilitator, and mentor, working closely with clinical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff.

  • Serve as a resource and mentor to nurses, fostering professional growth and clinical excellence.

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify learning needs and create targeted education plans.

  • Lead training sessions, simulations, and skill-building workshops using high- and low-fidelity simulation tools.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives through measurable outcomes.

  • Support change management efforts and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

  • Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) required, or currently enrolled with completion within 18 months of hire.

  • Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience.

  • Experience in adult education, including course development.

  • Current Washington State RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in a nursing core specialty.

  • Formal educator experience.

  • Leadership experience.

  • Experience with both high- and low-fidelity simulation training.

Compensation and Benefits
