Lead program finance for complex defense projects. Own EVMS deliverables, forecasting, and compliance while partnering with Program Management, Contracts, Supply Chain, and Engineering to drive financial performance and predictability.
Build, update, and present EAC and ETC; analyze cost and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain EVMS artifacts including baselines, WBS, control accounts, and monthly performance metrics such as CPI and SPI.
Prepare monthly actuals analysis, funding status by CLIN and SLIN, revenue and gross margin forecasts, and variance narratives for leadership reviews.
Support proposals and BOEs; partner with estimating to develop time-phased budgets and price-to-win scenarios.
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and CAS; support internal and customer audits, LOF monitoring, and allowability reviews.
Collaborate with CAMs and PMs to prepare IPMDAR or equivalent reporting; participate in IBRs and program risk and opportunity reviews.
Drive process improvements in forecasting cadence, data quality, and dashboarding; mentor junior analysts on tools and best practices.
Coordinate with Accounting on month-end close activities affecting program results, accruals, and revenue recognition.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; or 5 or more years of relevant program finance experience in lieu of degree.
Three or more years supporting defense or government programs in a program controls or financial analyst capacity.
Hands-on EVMS experience, including EAC and ETC development and variance analysis.
Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and CAS.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with Deltek Costpoint and business intelligence or reporting tools such as Power BI or Cognos.
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead meetings and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience with Cobra, MPM, Open Plan, or similar EV tools.
Prior participation in IBRs and delivery of IPMR or IPMDAR reports.
Leadership experience mentoring analysts or leading finance workstreams.
Active or previously held U.S. security clearance; ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
Salary range: $90,000 to $100,000 base, depending on experience, with potential performance bonus.
