Surgery Center Administrator
Location: Cincinnati, OH 45202
Salary: $130,000 – $160,000/year + Bonus + Signing Bonus + Full Benefits + Paid Relocation
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Operations Leader to serve as Surgery Center Administrator for a state-of-the-art facility with 3 ORs and 2 PRs, specializing in Spinal, Orthopedic, and Pain Management procedures.

The ideal candidate will bring Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) leadership experience or hospital surgical leadership with ASC exposure and will be passionate about driving operational excellence, quality care, and a positive work environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate all aspects of the facility’s daily operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality surgical services.

  • Serve as liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and all facility departments.

  • Oversee staffing, budgets, purchasing, and compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies.

  • Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing, and purchasing plans.

  • Lead business operations including financial performance monitoring, marketing initiatives, and strategic service development.

  • Manage personnel administration including hiring, evaluations, training, and productivity analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with all clinical, quality improvement, infection control, and credentialing standards.

  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to enhance and expand surgical service offerings.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Proven leadership experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital surgical services with ASC exposure.

  • Strong financial acumen and operational management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
