Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Columbia, SC 29201

Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 base salary_ Sign-on + Bonus + Full Benefits

The Senior Accountant will manage core accounting functions across multiple operating companies while also providing light HR coordination and office administration support. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both strategic and tactical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily cash balances across multiple accounts and complete monthly bank account reconciliations

• Oversee accounts payable including invoice coding, approval, and biweekly check processing

• Manage accounts receivable, collections, and invoicing for multiple entities

• Process payroll journal entries and coordinate onboarding for new employees

• Prepare journal entries and perform income statement analysis during month-end close

• Support tax-related matters and partner with the CFO for GAAP audits and compliance projects

• Serve as point of contact for office-related matters including vendor coordination and visitor assistance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Associate’s degree with extensive experience considered)

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience

• QuickBooks Enterprise experience preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a multi-entity environment
