TPM / Maintenance Manager
Overview
We are seeking an experienced TPM / Maintenance Manager to lead technical operations, infrastructure management, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role serves as a key member of the operations leadership team, driving plant-wide Progressive Maintenance (PM) strategies, enhancing equipment reliability, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Lead the Progressive Maintenance (PM) Pillar, driving measurable improvements in reliability, OEE, and downtime reduction.
Direct maintenance teams in daily operations, prioritizing and scheduling work through a CMMS.
Support and develop Maintenance Leaders, Planners, and Technicians to improve technical acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
Oversee maintenance of plant infrastructure, utilities, and facilities.
Manage maintenance storeroom operations, inventory control, and procurement.
Utilize root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate losses and prevent recurring issues.
Establish and track KPIs to manage safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering to execute the 5-year capital expenditure plan for equipment and facility upgrades.
Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety programs.
Build a high-performance, self-reliant culture by coaching and engaging with team members on the floor.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing preferred.
Proven experience implementing and sustaining TPM and Progressive Maintenance systems.
Strong background with CMMS platforms (e.g., COGZ, ManagerPlus, PM Expert) and preventive/predictive maintenance scheduling.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coach employees at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of measurable reliability improvements.
OSHA 10/30 certifications strongly preferred; forklift and lift certifications a plus.
Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
