Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $75-$85K, based on experience + Bonus Eligibility

About the Opportunity

A rapidly expanding Medicaid home care agency serving the Phoenix metro area is seeking an Administrator to manage operations, compliance, staffing, and intake coordination. This role is ideal for a leader familiar with Arizona Medicaid and MCO-driven referral environments who can support operational growth and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations Management

  • Direct daily operations of the home care agency

  • Manage caregiver staffing, scheduling, and client assignments

  • Supervise administrative and care coordination staff

  • Ensure services align with authorized hours and care plans

Compliance & Medicaid Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with Arizona Medicaid and AHCCCS regulations

  • Maintain accurate documentation and authorization workflows

  • Support audits, quality reviews, and incident management

Client, MCO & Community Relations

  • Serve as a primary liaison with clients, families, and MCO partners

  • Coordinate intake and start-of-care processes

  • Address escalations and service issues professionally

Administrative & Financial Responsibilities

  • Oversee billing, payroll approvals, and authorization tracking

  • Monitor productivity, staffing coverage, and service utilization

  • Support budgeting and operational planning initiatives

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in home care or healthcare operations

  • Strong understanding of Medicaid-funded home care services

  • Experience working with managed care organizations

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Arizona Medicaid and AHCCCS programs

  • Familiarity with MCOs such as UnitedHealthcare, Banner Health, or Mercy Care

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field
