Position Overview
A well-established in-home care provider in Southern Ocean County, NJ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support a growing elderly client base on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for an RN looking to work a few flexible hours per week close to home, with the option to take on additional work if desired.

This position focuses on in-home clinical oversight rather than shift nursing, making it an excellent fit for nurses seeking autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful patient interaction without a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct new client admissions and periodic reassessments

  • Perform one-hour in-home visits for ongoing client monitoring

  • Update plans of care (POCs) and complete discharges as needed

  • Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and orientation for caregivers assigned to clients

  • Support caregiver education related to best practices, procedures, and equipment use

  • Serve as a clinical resource to ensure high-quality, compliant care delivery

Compensation

  • $85 per hour for admissions

  • $65 per hour for one-hour home visits

Schedule & Flexibility

  • Per diem or part-time

Qualifications

  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable insured vehicle

  • Proof of professional liability insurance

  • Physical examination completed within the past year

  • Negative 1-step PPD or QuantiFERON test

  • MMR titer or vaccination demonstrating immunity

  • Willingness to complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening
