Electrical Controls Engineer 
Location: Princeton, WV 24740
Job Type: Direct Hire | Regional Travel Required
Compensation: $126,000 – $136,500 per year + Quarterly Bonuses + 12% 401(k)

Position Overview
• Provide regional electrical and automation engineering leadership
• Lead Ignition (SCADA) development and deployment across plant sites
• Support plant electrical systems, equipment installations, and troubleshooting
• Work hands-on with maintenance and operations teams during startups and upgrades
• Travel to regional facilities in VA, SC, and GA as needed


Key Responsibilities
• Lead corporate-wide Ignition installations and system upgrades
• Develop and configure SCADA screens, scripting, and integrations
• Support PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and plant process control systems
• Assist with equipment installations and automation integration
• Oversee plant-level electrical engineering projects
• Develop and support preventative maintenance programs
• Promote and maintain strong safety standards across all sites
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues


Qualifications
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
• 5+ years of industrial electrical or automation engineering experience
• Ignition by Inductive Automation experience or certification required
• Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC programming experience required
• Experience with SQL, ODATA, and Python scripting preferred
• AutoCAD Electrical experience for control system design
• Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel to regional plant locations


Preferred Experience
• Automation or robotics systems exposure
• Experience supporting heavy industrial or manufacturing operations
• Preventative electrical maintenance program development
