A growing professional services firm is seeking a technically strong consultant to modernize and migrate its web and domain infrastructure. This is a short-term project focused on rebuilding a corporate website on a new domain, establishing full DNS control, and configuring email authentication for improved deliverability.
This role is ideal for an experienced WordPress developer or technical consultant who understands hosting environments, DNS configuration, and email authentication protocols.
• Set up new hosting account under client ownership
• Build and launch a modern WordPress website on a newly owned domain
• Configure SSL certificate and security best practices
• Establish full DNS control and documentation
• Configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for email deliverability
• Prepare domain for ATS integration and outbound email infrastructure
• Document all logins, credentials, and configurations
• Provide transition overview upon project completion
• Proven experience building and launching WordPress websites
• Strong understanding of domain registrars and DNS management
• Experience configuring SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace email environments
• Ability to work independently and document technical processes clearly
• Experience with domain migrations
• Knowledge of email deliverability best practices
• Familiarity with Cloudflare or managed hosting platforms
• Previous consulting or contract-based project work
Location: Local candidate preferred (remote work acceptable with availability for occasional in-person meeting)
Duration: 4–8 weeks
Compensation: Competitive project-based or hourly rate based on experience
Start Date: Immediate
