Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and bilingual Medical Office Scheduler to join a growing healthcare team in Derry, New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating appointments, handling Medicaid authorizations, communicating with patients and providers, and working with scheduling and EMR systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage high-volume patient scheduling for medical appointments and healthcare services
• Coordinate schedules efficiently based on provider availability, patient needs, and insurance requirements
• Verify and track Medicaid authorizations and approvals for services
• Communicate with patients regarding appointment details, changes, and follow-up needs
• Answer incoming calls and respond to scheduling inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR and scheduling systems
• Work closely with clinical staff, providers, and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care
• Monitor cancellations, reschedules, and no-show appointments
• Assist with patient intake coordination and general front-office support
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
• Bilingual Spanish required
• Minimum of 2 years of medical scheduling or healthcare office experience preferred
• Experience handling high-volume scheduling required
• Familiarity with Medicaid authorizations and insurance verification preferred
• Strong computer and technology skills, including EMR systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
