About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional with established relationships within Kansas Medicaid, managed care organizations (MCOs), provider networks, or Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS).

This role is ideal for candidates currently working in Provider Relations, Network Development, Case Management, Care Coordination, Community Relations, LTSS, Waiver Programs, or Managed Care who are interested in joining a rapidly growing home care organization and helping expand referral partnerships throughout Kansas.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working for or alongside organizations such as Sunflower Health Plan, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Kansas, Healthy Blue Kansas, Aetna Better Health of Kansas, or similar Medicaid-focused healthcare organizations.

Position Overview

The Provider Relations & Medicaid Network Development Manager will be responsible for building relationships with referral sources, managed care organizations, waiver programs, case managers, discharge planners, hospitals, and community partners throughout the Wichita region and surrounding Kansas communities.

This position combines office-based operational responsibilities with community outreach and relationship development activities. The individual will work closely with leadership to expand referral partnerships, strengthen managed care relationships, and support continued organizational growth throughout Kansas.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Medicaid managed care organizations, provider networks, and referral partners

• Serve as a liaison between the organization and healthcare providers throughout Kansas

• Identify new referral opportunities and market growth initiatives

• Meet with case managers, care coordinators, social workers, discharge planners, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and community agencies

• Support network development and strategic growth initiatives

• Maintain knowledge of Kansas Medicaid programs, HCBS waiver services, LTSS, and managed care initiatives

• Assist leadership with strategic planning and business development activities

Preferred Background

Experience with organizations such as:

• Sunflower Health Plan

• UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Kansas

• Healthy Blue Kansas

• Aetna Better Health of Kansas

• Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS)

• Area Agencies on Aging (AAA)

• Other Kansas Medicaid Managed Care Organizations

Qualifications

• Healthcare industry experience required

• Experience working with Medicaid populations strongly preferred

• Existing relationships within Kansas healthcare networks preferred

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

• Ability to travel locally throughout the Wichita area and surrounding Kansas communities for meetings, networking, and referral development activities

• Comfortable working both in an office environment and in the community with healthcare partners

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
