Private Duty CHHA | Full-Time | Toms River, NJ | Up to $26/hr

We are seeking an experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for a full-time private duty home care opportunity in the Toms River area.

This is a one-on-one position for a dependable caregiver who enjoys developing a relationship with one client and providing consistent care in the comfort of the client's home.

Pay is up to $26.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and assignment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide one-on-one private duty care in the client's home

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care

• Help with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation

• Prepare meals and snacks

• Provide companionship and conversation

• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry

• Provide medication reminders

• Assist with errands, shopping, and appointments as needed

• Observe and report changes in the client's condition

• Help the client remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home

What We're Looking For

• Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification is required

• Must speak and communicate effectively in English

• Must have your own reliable personal transportation

• Valid driver's license required

• Previous private duty or in-home caregiving experience preferred

• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care

• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent full-time schedule

• Compassionate, professional, and comfortable working independently in a client's home

• Ability to complete required background and pre-employment screenings

Important Before Applying

This position requires an active New Jersey CHHA certification. Applicants without a current CHHA certification cannot be considered.

You must also have your own dependable vehicle and a valid driver's license. Transportation provided by family, friends, rideshare, or public transportation will not meet the requirements for this assignment.
