Location: Ft. Myers, FL - In office
Salary: $80,000+

We are seeking a Litigation Case Manager to oversee and execute case files, ensuring smooth transitions from pre-suit through settlement or verdict. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting attorneys, managing client relationships, and leading Client Specialists while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage case files for catastrophic accidents, wrongful death, and personal injury litigation.
  • File federal and state court documents using PACER.
  • Supervise Client Specialists, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professional development.
  • Conduct client interviews, maintain up-to-date case information, and communicate with attorneys.
  • Draft complaints, pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and related documents.
  • Oversee discovery responses, prepare legal documents, and coordinate with third-party processors for medical records and bills.
  • Maintain client communication, ensuring updates on case status and necessary documentation.
  • Calendar all court deadlines and manage legal filings within CLIO.
  • Prepare trial documents, exhibits, witness lists, and expert materials.
  • Assist attorneys with negotiations, settlement offers, and mediation scheduling.
  • Oversee post-settlement distributions, including bill collection and health insurance lien reductions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, case manager, or similar role (minimum 2 years in personal injury litigation preferred).
  • Experience with federal and state court filings and PACER.
  • Familiarity with CLIO, MS Office, Zoom, and legal document management software.
  • Strong ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys, clients, and external parties.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized in managing litigation case progressions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach.
