Location: Penn Yan, NY 14527 (Finger Lakes Region)
Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire | Hourly | Day/Evening Shifts | On-Call Rotation (a few times/month)

About the Role
We’re seeking a licensed Clinical Therapist (LMSW or LCSW) to join our outpatient behavioral health team. You’ll work with clients aged 5 and up—individually and in groups—to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions. You’ll also participate in an Emergency Department on-call rotation to provide crisis evaluations.

    • LMSW: $36.20–$40.49/hr (DOE)

    • LCSW: $31.55–$42.52/hr (DOE)

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and treatment planning

  • Collaborate with clients and families to establish and pursue treatment goals

  • Provide individual and group therapy in an outpatient setting

  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in client records

  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and external providers

  • Participate in on-call crisis evaluations at local Emergency Departments

  • Uphold professional standards and foster a healing-centered environment

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Nursing, or Art Therapy (PhD preferred)

  • Active NYS LMSW or LCSW (or equivalent NYS license: Mental Health Counselor, RN, Creative Arts Therapist)

  • Valid NYS driver’s license, clear of violations

  • BLS certification (via RQI) and CPI certification (within 90 days of hire)

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a mental health or hospital setting (3+ years preferred)
