Position Overview:
The Vice President of Finance will be a key leader within our executive team, overseeing all financial operations of the organization. This individual will collaborate with the CEO and senior executives to develop financial strategies that align with our long-term growth objectives. The VP of Finance will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering fiscal health across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial planning, forecasting, and long-term financial strategies.
  • Oversee and manage the company’s accounting, financial reporting, and auditing processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and international financial regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance financial performance, reduce risk, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis efforts, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders, board members, and investors.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including auditors, financial institutions, and tax advisors, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting and finance teams, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to inform key business decisions, strategic initiatives, and investments.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor its alignment with the organization’s goals.
  • Oversee cash flow management, capital investments, and credit facilities, ensuring the organization maintains a healthy financial position.
  • Provide financial leadership during significant business transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, or fundraising initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success in managing financial operations within a growing organization, with a focus on strategic planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and international financial regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial executives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Experience in the education or executive learning sector is a plus but not required.
