True Title: Senior Refractory Engineer (Refractory experience not required)
Location: Northampton, PA (Hybrid - Work from Home 1 Day per Week)

The role is hybrid, allowing at least one day of remote work per week, and requires travel for client engagements.
Position Summary:
As a Senior Refractory Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing refractory applications, developing tailored solutions, and providing technical expertise to customers. This position requires client interaction and onsite project involvement, but it is not a sales role. You will collaborate closely with customers, internal teams, and project managers to assess applications, estimate projects, and drive solutions that enhance efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct customer site assessments to analyze and recommend refractory solutions.
- Develop project estimates, proposals, and application strategies to meet client needs.
- Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to technical and safety standards.
- Provide technical expertise and problem-solving for refractory applications and materials.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to enhance customer support and service offerings.
- Travel to client sites as needed to provide hands-on support and consultation.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering (Ceramic, Materials Science, or Mechanical preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in the refractory or cement industry.
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 + 10% bonus
