Branch Manager
Reports to: Director of Operations
Position Overview:
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of the branch, including the hiring, onboarding, and training of employees. This role involves building rapport with customers and the community, creating and implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance, and achieving the financial targets of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor employees while leading daily operations.
- Foster an employee culture aligned with company values.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit and interview new employees.
- Oversee onboarding procedures and track 30-60-90 day expectations for new hires.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure overall satisfaction.
- Analyze budgets and financial reports, communicating plans and forecasts to branch departments.
- Develop strategies to grow the business and acquire new customers.
- Implement and oversee branch processes and procedures with the leadership team.
- Monitor waste control and branch productivity to maximize profitability.
- Manage purchases and inventory within the branch.
- Adaptively manage the annual budget and communicate goals with the Director of Operations.
- Provide leadership to Arborists and department managers.
- Collaborate with the President and leadership team to promote the company's image and support its mission and values.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Arboriculture or a related field.
- ISA Certified Arborist designation.
- TCIA CTSP certification.
- At least five years of leadership and operational management experience.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- Proficient in analyzing financial records, creating plans, and following budgets.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A focus on customer service and leading by example.
