The Medical Assistant will support both clinical and administrative functions, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience for patients. The ideal candidate brings professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine passion for caring for adults and older patients in a personalized care setting.
• Welcome patients warmly and create a comfortable, supportive environment
• Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and update medical records accurately
• Perform phlebotomy and prepare laboratory specimens
• Conduct EKGs
• Assist with medication management and prior authorizations
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EHR system
• Provide administrative support including record management and documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical space in compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate directly with the physician to support coordinated, high-touch care delivery
• Experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care or outpatient setting
• Strong phlebotomy skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Comfort working in a boutique, relationship-driven medical practice
• Familiarity with EHR systems preferred
