Position Summary:
The Router position is an individual contributor role responsible for creating routes, managing routes, calculating delivery routes, times of deliveries and makes the necessary adjustments for drivers and customers. The Router role reports to the Transportation Manager or Routing Supervisor and normally works a Sunday through Thursday shift. The Router role works with numerous routing and software systems. The Router role requires strong attention to detail and process skills. The Router may interact with drivers, sales, transportation, warehouse and customer service personnel at management discretion. The Router functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duties assigned to best serve the company.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Using routing software (Roadnet, AS400, or similar) to establish the most efficient and cost-effective delivery routes.
- Managing daily route adjustments to accommodate customer needs, DOT regulations, and driver safety.
- Analyzing routing data, tracking deliveries, and optimizing transportation logistics.
- Producing driver manifests and route maps to ensure smooth deliveries.
