Job Title: Remote Human Resources Manager (contract to perm preferred)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $110,000 - $145,000 annually ($65-$75/hr)
Location: Remote - Candidates must reside in Oregon as there are in person meetings

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead People Services Operations: Develop, implement, and evaluate organization-wide HR functions, including recruitment, compensation/benefits, and employee relations.
- Ensure Compliance: Oversee adherence to federal, state, and industry-specific employment laws and regulations, including managed care compliance standards.
- Manage Team Performance: Direct and assess departmental performance, ensuring technical and managerial competency in alignment with organizational goals.
- Drive Strategy: Provide strategic direction for employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and leadership development.
- Lead HR Team: Manage and mentor a team of HR/People Services professionals, ensuring HR best practices and alignment with business objectives.
- Advise Senior Management: Analyze complex HR situations and offer recommendations with significant organizational impact.
- Oversee Labor Relations: Manage union contracts, negotiations, grievance resolution, and labor law compliance.
- Develop HR Policies: Create, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with employment laws and company goals.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration: Oversee market-based compensation strategies, benefits administration, and total rewards programs.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Develop and execute initiatives that enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention within a multi-site, remote workforce.
- Conflict Resolution & Investigations: Handle employee relations matters, conduct workplace investigations, and ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies.
- Training & Development: Oversee employee training programs, leadership development initiatives, and compliance training.
- HR Technology & Reporting: Utilize HRIS systems for reporting, workforce planning, and analytics to support data-driven HR strategies.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Required)
- Resident of Oregon
- Certification: PHR certification (Required)
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR/People Services experience with expertise in employee relations, talent acquisition, training, and compensation management
- Supervisory Experience: Experience overseeing HR/People Services teams
- Union Experience: Recent experience managing union contracts, negotiations, and grievance resolution
- Multi-Site Experience: Experience supporting multi-state or multi-site employee relations
- Legal & Compliance Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of federal/state employment law and regulatory compliance within healthcare or managed care environments
- HR Technology: Proficiency in HRIS systems, reporting, and analytics
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to present HR strategies and recommendations to executive leadership
