Job Title: Office Manager – Home Care
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000 + Bonus
Work Location: Office-based in South Jersey, with light travel to referral partners and client homes as needed
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Office Manager for our South Jersey home care branch. The Office Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth coordination between staff, clients, and referral partners. This role is focused on operational management, compliance, and local business development to support the agency’s growth in the South Jersey market.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in home care operations, Medicaid programs, and staff supervision, and is familiar with the provider landscape in Ocean, Atlantic, Burlington, and Cape May counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, intake, billing, payroll, and staff coordination.
- Supervise and support office staff, service coordinators, and field employees to ensure quality service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with NJ state regulations, Medicaid program requirements, and agency policies.
- Manage client records, insurance verifications, and EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) processes.
- Build and strengthen referral relationships with hospitals, physician groups, rehabilitation centers, and community organizations in South Jersey.
- Support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of caregivers and field staff.
- Track and report on census growth, staffing levels, and compliance metrics to leadership.
- Serve as the first point of contact for client or family concerns, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
- Collaborate with leadership on branch-level marketing and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in home care, home health, or healthcare office management.
- Strong knowledge of NJ Medicaid waivers, billing, and scheduling practices.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage daily office workflows.
- Established knowledge of the South Jersey healthcare provider and referral network.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with EVV and scheduling software.
- College degree preferred, but relevant healthcare management experience will be considered in place of a degree.
- Valid NJ driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required.
