A rapidly expanding home care agency located in Barnegat is seeking an organized, reliable Home Care Scheduler to support our growing client and caregiver base in the Hackensack area. Position Overview
The Scheduler will coordinate caregiver schedules, manage client requests, ensure coverage of all open shifts, and support daily office operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain caregiver schedules for clients in Hackensack and surrounding areas
• Respond quickly to call-outs, shift changes, and urgent coverage needs
• Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, and referral partners
• Maintain accurate documentation in the scheduling system
• Assist with onboarding, matching caregivers to clients, and supporting office workflow
Qualifications
• Experience in home care, healthcare scheduling, or related administrative role preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service ability
• Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with home care scheduling software is a plus
