With continued investment in people, equipment, and process improvement, they are expanding their maintenance team to support reliable, efficient operations.
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency. This role requires a well-rounded background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with exposure to PLC troubleshooting in a plastics manufacturing environment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and support equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with minimal supervision
Troubleshoot PLCs, controls, and automation systems as needed
Accurately document maintenance activities, inspections, and parts usage in a CMMS (Maximo)
Support mold design, construction, and production engineering operations
Coordinate with internal teams including Production, Engineering, Quality, and Assembly to resolve equipment issues
Work with outside vendors and contractors on equipment repairs and upgrades
Maintain facility infrastructure including utilities, lighting, compressed air, and safety systems
Assist with equipment installations, new production line setups, and machinery upgrades
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime
Maintain maintenance areas according to 2S/3D standards and attend required training
Strong electrical and pneumatic background required
Working knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
PLC and industrial controls experience preferred
Experience in plastics manufacturing (injection or blow molding) strongly preferred
Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
Stable work history preferred (no frequent job changes)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Regular standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and reaching
Frequent use of hands for tools and equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Visual acuity for close, distance, and color vision
Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment
Compliance with safety standards and use of appropriate PPE required
