We are currently recruiting for a VP of Business Development join our office in Rockville, MD. This is an office-based role. Excellent base + incentive compensation.
This role have some individual sales contributions, but will mainly require an individual who will proactively engage and develop the sales team to convert business leads. They will conduct quality customer conversations to assess the client needs for business to business financial services. The successful VP of Business Development will need to possess excellent communication and customer service skills as well as strong financial acumen to coach the team to proactively engage and drive new business opportunities.
Develop sales staff to perform inbound client queries via telephone/email and also using Zoom/Teams.
Provide proactive outbound advice to potential clients.
Produce marketing material with external partners and other service providers.
Ensure that all databases and systems are accurate and complete.
Collaborate with the team in a positive manner.
Proven track record leading and developing B2B (Business to Business) sales team
Ability to communicate with C-Level executives with medium-large companies
Basic understanding of business tax, unemployment claims or tax credits
Experience with financial services, banking or healthcare
