Scheduling and claims consulting company to the construction industry seeks full-time administrative assistant for our team in Rockville, Maryland to support and ensure efficient operation of the office.
General administrative duties in support of management and employees related to organization and communication.
Detailed orientated and accurate, strong customer service background, and excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to engage in a pleasant, professional manner and develop strong relationships to be one of the points of contact.
Be professional and knowledgeable while interacting with government agencies required for acquisition and maintenance of company certifications.
Respond to emails promptly and professionally, seeking out as needed required information from employees or internet research.
Complete project paperwork and update company records, assignation of staff and maintain monthly progress records.
Preferably familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures or a willingness and ability to gain the knowledge quickly. Opportunity for career growth. Environment is collaborative and one of teaching and learning.
Must be comfortable working in a team environment.
Hours are 7:30 – 4 pm Monday to Friday (punctuality a must).
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Be professional, have flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multitask under deadlines.
Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint.
Very strong writing, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Excellent organizational/ time management skills.
Self-motivated and proactive in offering support and ideas to management team.
