Office Administrative Assistant is a full-time permanent position with excellent benefits, including a 401(k) with company match.

JOB DESCRIPTION


Scheduling and claims consulting company to the construction industry seeks full-time administrative assistant for our team in Rockville, Maryland to support and ensure efficient operation of the office.

RESPONSIBILTIES
 
  • General administrative duties in support of management and employees related to organization and communication.
  • Detailed orientated and accurate, strong customer service background, and excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to engage in a pleasant, professional manner and develop strong relationships to be one of the points of contact.
  • Be professional and knowledgeable while interacting with government agencies required for acquisition and maintenance of company certifications.
  • Respond to emails promptly and professionally, seeking out as needed required information from employees or internet research. 
  • Complete project paperwork and update company records, assignation of staff and maintain monthly progress records.
  • Preferably familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures or a willingness and ability to gain the knowledge quickly. Opportunity for career growth. Environment is collaborative and one of teaching and learning.

REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Hours are 7:30 – 4 pm Monday to Friday (punctuality a must).
  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Be professional, have flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multitask under deadlines.
  • Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint.
  • Very strong writing, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Excellent organizational/ time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in offering support and ideas to management team.
