Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Loan Processor to join our team in Rockville, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loan processing, with specific experience in construction lending. As a Construction Loan Processor, you will play a key role in facilitating the loan application process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional service to our clients.


  • Review and analyze construction loan applications and supporting documentation.
  • Verify borrower information, credit history, and financial documents.
  • Coordinate with borrowers, lenders, and other stakeholders to gather required information and documentation.
  • Prepare loan packages and submit applications to underwriting for approval.
  • Monitor loan status and communicate updates to clients throughout the process.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters, closers, and loan officers, to expedite loan closings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the loan process.


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in loan processing, with a focus on construction lending.
  • Strong understanding of loan documentation, underwriting criteria, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices and terminology is a plus.


  • Competitive salary in the range of $65,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience.
