Senior Marketing Specialist - Medicare Advantage

Job Title: Sr. Program Specialist, Medicare or Senior Marketing Specialist

Position: 100% Remote

Pay: $33-$38/hr

Time Zone Requirements: None

Work Hours: 8am – 5pm or 9am – 6pm

Equipment Provided: Laptop, keyboard, mouse, headset, 2 monitors, docking station

Job Summary: The Sr. Program Specialist, Medicare is responsible for developing assigned Medicare Advantage and MMP member materials. This role requires close collaboration with business and operational units to ensure all member communications are compliant, accurate, timely, and meet federal and state agency requirements. The specialist will also manage other projects as assigned by management and support Medicare Advantage and MMP lines of business for upcoming contract year business readiness. Participation in the development, implementation, and maintenance of annual timelines/work plans to ensure timely and successful project completion is essential. Additional responsibilities include assisting in developing/updating process and policy documentation, standard operation procedures, and handling ad hoc projects as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Develops Medicare Advantage and MMP member materials using a content management system.
  • Demonstrates understanding and strict adherence to regulatory requirements, including timelines.
  • Collaborates closely with internal partners and external vendors.
  • Actively participates in meetings and can present and/or train team members as needed.
  • Assists with creating process improvement workflows, project presentations, work plans, establishing due dates, and assigning task responsibilities.
  • Utilizes effective time management skills and tools to achieve desired project results.
  • Stays up to date with the latest communications and guidance provided by federal (CMS) and state agencies.
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and ability to QC/proof documents for 100% accuracy.
