Job Title: Vice President, Managed Care Enterprise Integration

Job Summary

The Vice President, Managed Care Enterprise Integration, will oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of strategic growth projects, including new market launches and M&A integrations. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless execution of complex initiatives, and driving alignment between corporate strategies and operational objectives. The VP will work closely with executive leadership, business development, and corporate development teams to deliver significant business value and ensure the successful integration of acquired entities.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Portfolio Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, and management of growth-focused projects, including market expansions and M&A integrations.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to prioritize and shape implementation projects that align with corporate goals.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project portfolio that supports organizational growth and innovation.

M&A Integration and Implementation

  • Serve as the primary leader for M&A integrations, ensuring smooth transitions for newly acquired entities into existing business structures.
  • Design and oversee detailed integration plans covering operational, financial, and cultural aspects of acquired organizations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks during the integration process to minimize disruption and ensure compliance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with business development and corporate development teams to evaluate potential acquisitions and market opportunities.
  • Coordinate with leaders from finance, IT, HR, and operations to streamline integration and project execution.
  • Act as a liaison between executive leadership and project teams, ensuring clear communication of goals and progress.

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee the execution of new market launches, including compliance with regulatory requirements and operational readiness.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that integration efforts align with organizational values, business objectives, and industry best practices.

Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead change management strategies to support organizational adaptation during transitions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and alignment.
  • Develop communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is required.
  • Advanced credentials such as an MBA are highly preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in managed care, healthcare operations, or corporate development.
  • Proven expertise in M&A integrations, including planning, due diligence, and post-merger execution.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional projects with a focus on growth and innovation.

Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams across geographies.
  • Deep understanding of managed care principles, healthcare regulations, and payer/provider operations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of healthcare technologies and systems, such as HRIS or claims management platforms.
  • Experience managing large budgets and delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Familiarity with compliance and legal considerations in managed care and M&A activities.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary $150,000-$175,000 commensurate with experience.
